The American Rottweiler Club now has a legislative committee that is working on BSL (as well as Home Owners Insurance, spay neuter laws and tail docking).
We are sending out alerts state by state (almost daily..) on any BSL legislation that comes up. We are also recruiting volunteer liaisons state by state. We have an email list for these liaisons, and give support, instruction and guidance for combating these laws. This will build a large network to make this committee a success.
The committee consists of Jan Cooper, Jeff Shaver and Lew Olson. We have about a dozen volunteers so far, but we need more and we would like to get each state represented by at least one volunteer, but hopefully more.
